Who Lives On My Street? How Do I Find Out Who Lives On A Street

Do you want to find out who lives on your street

Do you wish that you had a list of names of the people in the street so that you could call them by name when you see them out and about? There are 2 ways to get this information, The old way and the high tech way.

You might be wishing that you had all your neighbors names so that you could send them invitations to your house warming party without it looking too impersonal.

Perhaps you aren’t so sure about some of the characters that you see hanging about and you wish that you could do a criminal background check on everyone in the street. It would be really handy to know exactly where the criminals where so that you can keep an eye on them or avoid them.

These are all very good reasons why you might want a list of people living in your street so how do you go about getting one?

The old way of finding names of people who live on my street

The good old methods are still available to you believe it or not. People seem to forget how we all managed to live before the days of the cell phone and the Internet. I’m pretty sure that we did though.

Go and ask them. There, it’s simple enough and it still works even to this day. Go down the street and knock on those doors. Talk to the people that you meet and listen to what they tell you. It’s a good idea to take notes when you do this because you are likely to get a lot of information thrown at you.

This is a great way to build your list of names for the street because you actually get to meet the people and start to build up a relationship with them. You never know when you might need to call on them for help so make sure that you try to make a few friends.

The high tech way to find out who lives on your street

Knocking on doors is a great way to meet people but it is time consuming and not always convenient or even practical. You might want to check out a list of people in the street before you move into the area or even before you purchase the property. You can’t spend too much time meeting the neighbors if this is the case.

So how else can you find out who lives in the street? I’ve recently discovered a way to do this using a little known secret involving public records web sites on the Internet. I suppose that this isn’t really a secret but not many people are aware of it or how to use it.

My secret way to find people on a particular street

When you use a good public records web site to do a background check on someone it will often give you the names of any neighbors that are found in the database too. When you find neighbors you can do a background check on them and find their neighbors. You can keep doing this until you run out of possible neighbors in the database and then you will have your list of names of people who live in the street.

This method requires you to know the name of at least one person that lives in the street before you start. You can look up yourself if you live in the same street or you can often do a reverse address search to find your first person.

Find much more than names of the people in the street

While you are compiling your list of of names of people in the street you can also find out a lot more about them by doing a background check at the same time. You can search their arrest warrants, criminal records, court records and a lot more. This is the perfect way to get to know who your neighbors are or to find out exactly what kind of a neighborhood it is before you decide to buy property there.
